Mouse Button Tutorial  William Hawthorne - March 28th, 2012

I've got another tutorial up. Once again, it's for Haxe. This time I'm addressing standard buttons, and a useful way to abstract them out in Haxe for reusability, and flexibility. Buttons are the backbone of interactivity for touchscreens. With tablets and smartphones becoming such profitable platforms for software development, it is important to have solid button classes to work with.

While this solution works pretty well with most of Haxe + NME's targets, I have found that it doesn't exactly play nice with HTML5. While you can view the tutorial just fine in iOS, don't expect the example to work. It's in Flash this time, as that seems to be a more stable platform for mouse interactions.
